Reactivate appointed as creative space management team for Mungo Scott building

After the success of Grains Festival in July 2018, EG Developments and Daiwa House appointed Reactivate as a space broker and activation manager for the unique century-old Mungo Scott Building.

Reactivate has led the development of an interactive website, booking platform and engagement program for the Mungo Scott building enabling artists, musicians, photographers, hospitality groups, and the local community to access a world class cultural facility and performance space.

Opening in March 2019 for the first time since its ten-year redevelopment, the building was used to host a series of Sydney Design Festival exhibitions. The building has also become home to the Inner West Beekeepers who run regular beehive education programs and workshops.

Working closely with Inner West Council, local community and operators Bespoke Markets, Reactivate has since established a successful farmers market within the Flour Mill of Summer Hill precinct. The new market hosts up to 35 fresh food, produce and artisan design stallholders on fortnightly Sundays within the newly renovated Mungo Scott Plaza.

In 2020, Reactivate will manage a development application process that seeks consent to enable the delivery of up to five (5) years worth of events and activations.
