Cultivating Creativity: Reactivate with Brookvale Arts District

We at Reactivate are delighted to announce our recent appointment to work closely with the emerging Brookvale Arts District (BAD). It's an exciting opportunity for us to contribute to the development and solidification of BAD's reputation as the premier arts, industry, and entertainment precinct on Sydney's Northern Beaches.

We are especially excited to collaborate with BAD following its recent win of the Uptown Accelerator Program grant from the NSW government. This achievement not only underscores the district's potential but also demonstrates its commitment to excellence and innovation.

BAD, is undergoing a rapid evolution into a dynamic and bustling creative hub set against a unique industrial backdrop. Our team is honored to be part of this transformative journey, leveraging our expertise in place strategy and visioning, along with government engagement, to support BAD's sustainable growth.

The district holds a rich history steeped in creative and maker culture, once serving as the birthplace of Australia's surf manufacturing industry and contributing significantly to the rise of iconic Australian bands like INXS and Midnight Oil. Affectionately known as BAD, the district has become a beacon for creative makers and performance spaces, meeting a pressing need within the broader Sydney community.

Our role at Reactivate is to guide BAD's early evolution, harnessing its immense creative potential, and fostering its growth into a thriving cultural epicenter. We are dedicated to nurturing the arts, music, and creative communities within Sydney's Northern Beaches, and we take great pride in being part of this journey, one that continually breathes new life into the district.
