Year: 2021
Client: Transport for NSW
Reactivate joined Ramboll to deliver the Moss Vale Transport Improvements project that involved undertaking Steps 1-4 of the Transport for NSW Movement and Place Framework. Utilising the new and evolving methodology, the team worked closely with Transport for NSW Stakeholders and Wingecarribee Shire Council to establish a baseline conditions of the interacting transport systems and place experience, as well as identify a vision to improve the movement and place experience of Moss Vale.
Reactivate was the Place Lead in addition to leading the Community and Stakeholder Engagement and designing and facilitating the Vision and Collaboration Workshops that were all held online due to COVID lockdown in 2021 each with 35-40 participants. Reactivate designed a custom designed place audit that assessed Moss Vale from a placemaking perspective to align with the Movement and Place Methodology and was able to use their expert placemaking and planning experience to interpret key insights and findings into Steps 1-4.
