Jacksons on George is a new hospitality venue integral to the Sydney’s night life, that opened in 2023. The venue has been designed by Studio Hollenstein and forms part of the broader Sydney Place precinct, that includes a 55-storey office tower, major ground plane retail and new Geroge Square, that was developed by Lendlease.
The new Jacksons on George is spread across three floors with a welcoming sophisticated modern pub on the ground floor; a restaurant and wine bar on level one curated by Maurice Terzini; and finally, a vibrant rooftop terrace and stylish cocktail bar that will welcome people day and night.
The intent was to deliver a consistently activated series of spaces over three floors at Jacksons, with unique offerings and personalities that evolve over the course of the day, taking patrons on a remarkable journey.
The wider precinct will reignite the vitality of the northern end of the CBD and will be the social connector between the heart of Sydney’s CBD and Sydney’s front door, Circular Quay.
Reactivate provided a range of advice on the project including a grant strategy, public realm activation and stakeholder engagement advice in order to connect the project to the surrounding precinct, unify experiences across the venue, whilst driving traffic to the venue and connecting it to its surrounding stakeholders.
