Reactivate project designed and delivered the transformation of a pre-construction site into a temporary, open air urban arts precinct which culminated into The ‘Langston Weekender’. The major cultural festival attracted over 3,000 people to the site over the weekend.
Working with local businesses and the community, The Langston Weekender brought together a suite of temporary artworks including murals, light and sound installations and performance. We also set up engagement stations that enabled the community to provide feedback and gain insights into the future precinct’s public art, landscape, and public realm planning in an accessible and fun way.
